Description
Painting I made for an art auction with proceeds going to the organization's wetlands education program. The theme is California Central Valley wildlife or agriculture so I decided to paint the cutest scavenger around. I kind of don't want to part with it anymore, but its destiny was to be donated!

AGREED. Turkey vultures are pretty damn cute scavengers. I love how expressive the eye is here, plus see through nostrils are about my favorite thing with turkey vultures, and you nailed that here. I also love when they get mad and their forehead turns white hahaha Great job on the feathery appearance you got in the small beak feathers, they look exactly like those little pin like feathers on the nose!
