Sparrow's Song

One of my favorite drawings of all time which is saying something considering it was somewhat rushed for a deadline. To me it speaks of a sparrow that sings to the heavens and stars of its hopes and dreams.

Hot off the presses! You never know what my mind will conjure next :) But it usually carries the faint scent of Prismas or the strangeness of Kelvians.

Like a tree hugger today.

I love the pigeons and their cooing flights
I love the Pintail Ducks and their stripe
I love the Western Scrub Jays and their clever antics
I love the turkeys, how they strut
I love the hawks, and their calls in the wind

Now I wish I could see an owl flying in the night =P

So I am finally done with midterms (rejoice!), but finals are coming up in two weeks (weep!) I have a few term papers to finish. Grr.

Overall, I feel like I am just killing time academically. I don't like it. Major-related classes now! I want to finish quickly without killing myself of unit overload. Especially since the university decided to say, "Haha! You thought you could get away without loans eh? Guess what! Here's a $2,000 student fees increase!" It may not seem like a lot, but people will most likely drop out. An institution of learning shouldn't do that. Actually, let me rephrase that. The state government shouldn't be cutting funding to education. I thought I was done with that when I graduated from high school. But no. Arrg, so angering sometimes :XD:

On another note. Has this ever happened to anyone? You have all this academic work you need to do, when WHAMMO! You are filled with a strong urge to draw or write? But you know you should get your work done and ignore it? Because if you were to create, you wouldn't be able to stop, potentially jeopardizing your grade? Yet, the urge lingers in your mind, distracting you and draining away your mental energy? Finally, when you're done with work, you are too mentally drained to fulfill the urge's previous desires?
Cause it happens to me every day and I hate it. Has anyone learned how to deal with this? =P

I am good. And I'm not really nervous. It's like going to high school all over again (except with more responsibilities and privileges.) I am stepping into a new period in my life and it's thrilling, but a little frightening at the same time :XD:

Good luck your senior year! It's always got the potential to be the greatest. For me it wasn't, you know, with the whole senior trip incidents =P Anyways, say hello to Mr. Owsley's cockroaches for me! I shall miss them and their hissing :(
